Event: Apps for Business
Tuesday, March 01, 2011 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Bath Innovation Centre, Carpenter House, Broad Quay, BA1 1UD
Apps are becoming an integral part of modern life for consumers. How can they also be used to achieve business objectives?
The potential of mobile apps for business is only starting to be explored. They offer a fresh channel to engage, communicate with, market and deliver services to individual customers or partners – wherever they may be.
This event, run jointly by BEN and openMIC, will explore what businesses are already doing with apps and the benefits they are achieving. It will highlight the opportunities for app developers and will offer insights into how this sector will develop in the future. Our speakers have a wealth of experience from which to give examples that illustrate their views.
The event also includes a demonstration of the exciting Layars augmented reality app, using locally-developed content.
This event is open to members of BEN and openMIC, and to non-members. Food and drink are included in the ticket price.
