Over 200 people attended the 45th Designability (Bath Institute of Medical Engineering) Annual Lecture and exhibition on 3 October at the University of Bath.
Professor Tony Pipe delivered a fascinating lecture on the technical and social challenges involved in creating robotics that can deliver healthcare, improve our wellbeing and enhance medical treatment.
Accompanied by Molly the Mobiserv robot, Tony also left the audience pondering a key question: “Should robots be our friends?”
